In April 2024, the Emma Turnbull Lawyers' team launched CLIP – Victoria’s first formal private practice Criminal Law Internship Program. CLIP presents a previously unavailable opportunity for law students and professionals to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of private criminal law practice and is designed to provide aspiring criminal lawyers with hands-on experience and mentorship in the field.

The program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and a real-world career in criminal law. CLIP runs three times a year, twice in an intensive two-day format and one week long program.
