Shortly after his admission to practice in 2015, Manny joined our team of leading criminal defence lawyers at Emma Turnbull Lawyers. He immediately began to hone his skills as a criminal defence lawyer and enjoyed early career success.

In 2017, Manny was promoted to a Senior Associate within the firm, and was recognised as Rising in the Doyle’s Guide rankings for Victorian Criminal Defence Lawyers in 2019. In 2020, Manny was acknowledged as an Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law with the Law Institute of Victoria, and has been promoted to Partner at Emma Turnbull Lawyers in 2021. Manny has built up over many years an array of advocacy experiences and appears in all Court jurisdictions. As a specialist criminal defence lawyer, Manny has expanded his advocacy work in recent years with appearances on behalf of witnesses in Royal Commission Public Hearings. Manny has also had carriage of a number of high-profile Supreme Court and Court of Appeal matters and has secured excellent outcomes for his clients. Prior to being a criminal defence lawyer, Manny gained extensive experience working at a variety of community legal centres in Sydney and Melbourne.
