As one of Victoria’s most diverse and experienced specialist criminal law teams, we are committed to fostering a culture of networks, shared knowledge and building opportunities for the lawyers of tomorrow.

In April 2024, the ETL team launched CLIP – Victoria’s first formal private practice Criminal Law Internship Program.

CLIP presents a previously unavailable opportunity for law students and professionals to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of private criminal law practice.

CLIP is an initiative of the Emma Turnbull Lawyers team and is designed to provide aspiring criminal lawyers with hands-on experience and mentorship in the field. The program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and a real-world career in criminal law.

CLIP runs three times a year, twice in an intensive two-day format and one week long program.
